1. Company Information

ModReady.gg is a service operated by ModReady AB, a company registered in Sweden. By using our services, you are entering into an agreement with ModReady AB.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using ModReady.gg services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services. We recommend that you read these terms carefully before making a purchase.

3. Age Requirements

You must be at least 16 years old to use our services. If you are under 16, you may only use ModReady.gg with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian. The parent or guardian is responsible for the minor's use of the service and agrees to be bound by these terms on the minor's behalf.

By using our services or making a purchase, you confirm that you are at least 16 years old, or that you have obtained parental or guardian consent to use the service.

4. Service Description

ModReady.gg provides game server hosting services, primarily for Minecraft. We offer virtual server resources including CPU, RAM, storage, and network connectivity for running game servers. Our infrastructure is located in multiple regions including Sweden, Germany, Finland, United States, and Canada.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to use our services for:

• Any illegal activities
• Distributing malware or harmful content
• DDoS attacks or network abuse
• Cryptocurrency mining
• Hosting content that violates intellectual property rights
• Any activity that disrupts our services or other users

6. User Content & Uploaded Files

You are solely responsible for all content, files, mods, plugins, and other material that you upload, install, or store on your server ("User Content"). ModReady AB does not monitor, review, or endorse User Content and assumes no liability for it.

You warrant that your User Content does not violate any applicable law, infringe on third-party intellectual property rights, or contain illegal, harmful, or objectionable material.

We reserve the right to remove any User Content and suspend or terminate accounts if we become aware of content that violates these terms or applicable law, without prior notice and without liability.

7. Payment, Refunds & Money-Back Guarantee

All payments are processed securely through Stripe. Prices are displayed in the currency selected at checkout.

48-Hour Money-Back Guarantee

We offer a 48-hour money-back guarantee from the time of your first purchase. If you are not satisfied for any reason, you may request a full refund within 48 hours of your initial subscription payment. To request a refund, contact us at [email protected].

Right of Withdrawal (EU Consumers)

Under EU consumer protection law (the Consumer Rights Directive 2011/83/EU), you have the right to withdraw from a distance purchase within 14 days without giving any reason.

However, by starting to use the service — specifically, once your game server has been provisioned and is accessible — you acknowledge and agree that the digital service has begun to be delivered. In accordance with Article 16(a) of the Directive, the right of withdrawal is waived once the service has been fully provided, or once you have expressly consented to the performance beginning and acknowledged losing the right of withdrawal.

General Refund Policy

Outside of the 48-hour money-back guarantee and the 14-day withdrawal period, refunds are not available for subscription fees already charged. You may cancel your subscription at any time to prevent future charges.

Non-Refundable Services

Purchase of add-on services (e.g., plugin installation, modpack setup, server migration, custom configuration) is non-refundable once work has commenced.

Chargebacks

We strongly encourage you to contact our support team before initiating a chargeback or payment dispute with your bank. We are committed to resolving any billing issues directly. Unresolved chargebacks may result in service suspension. Fraudulent chargebacks will result in account termination and may be pursued through applicable legal channels.

8. Cancellation

You may cancel your monthly subscription at any time with no notice period and no cancellation fees.

How to cancel: You can cancel your subscription through the Stripe customer portal, or by contacting [email protected].

When cancellation takes effect: Upon cancellation, your server will remain active until the end of your current billing period. You will not be charged again after cancellation.

Data after cancellation: After your subscription ends, your server data (including world files, configurations, and backups) will be retained for 30 days. After this 30-day retention period, all data will be permanently deleted. We recommend downloading any important files before your subscription ends.

9. Price Changes

We reserve the right to change our pricing at any time. Any price increase will be communicated to existing subscribers at least 30 days before the new price takes effect. If you do not agree with the new pricing, you may cancel your subscription before the change takes effect. Continued use of the service after the price change constitutes acceptance of the new pricing.

10. Fair Use

Our hosting plans are designed for normal game server usage. You agree to use the allocated server resources (CPU, RAM, storage, network) in a manner consistent with running a game server for the intended number of players.

Activities that place an unreasonable or disproportionate load on our infrastructure — such as running resource-intensive processes unrelated to game hosting, excessive automated scripts, or intentionally overloading shared resources — may result in throttling, suspension, or termination of your service. We will make reasonable efforts to contact you before taking action, except in cases where immediate action is necessary to protect our infrastructure or other users.

11. Service Availability

We strive to provide reliable, high-uptime service but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Scheduled maintenance will be announced in advance when possible. We are not liable for any damages resulting from service interruptions, whether planned or unplanned.

12. Data and Backups

While we provide backup features, you are ultimately responsible for maintaining your own backups of important data. We are not liable for any data loss. Server data will be permanently deleted 30 days after service cancellation or non-payment.

13. Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms without prior notice. Upon termination for cause, you are not entitled to a refund. All data associated with terminated accounts may be deleted immediately.

14. Limitation of Liability

ModReady.gg is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, ModReady AB shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services.

Our total aggregate liability for any claim related to the service shall not exceed the total amount you have paid to us in the 3 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud, willful misconduct, or any liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

15. Force Majeure

ModReady AB shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing its obligations where such failure or delay results from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to: natural disasters, acts of government, internet or telecommunications failures, cyberattacks (including DDoS attacks), power outages, pandemics, or failures of third-party service providers. In the event of a force majeure lasting more than 30 consecutive days, either party may terminate the agreement with written notice.

16. Dispute Resolution

If you have a complaint or dispute regarding our services, please contact us first at [email protected]. We will make reasonable efforts to resolve the matter directly.

If we are unable to resolve the dispute, consumers in Sweden may file a complaint with Allmänna Reklamationsnämnden (ARN), Box 174, 101 23 Stockholm, Sweden (www.arn.se). EU consumers may also use the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

17. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Sweden. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of our services that cannot be resolved through the dispute resolution process above shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Sweden.

18. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated to registered users via email at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use of our services after the effective date of changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. If you do not agree with the changes, you may cancel your subscription before they take effect.
